Switching between List and Calendar view

Is there an easy way to add a toggle that will switch between the list view for events and the calendar view? For example, my events page currently displays the calendar. I would like to add a button that when clicked switches the view to listed events.

So far what I’ve found is that I have to create a separate page that lists events, and clicking the button just takes you to this page. But I would like to this without having to go to another page.

Is there a feature that can do this? I’ve searched the documentation and other topics and haven’t found anything.
