# Switching Admin Email

 * Hi,
 * I need to switch the email address that I, as an Admin, receive new appointment
   emails in. I changed my WordPress user email address to the new email address
   I would like to receive new appointment notifications in, but that didn’t work.
 * I was using my college email address, but I’ll be losing that email relatively
   soon so I need to switch. Unfortunately, I know NOTHING about coding… but any
   help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

 * The plugin should actually use the email specified in the settings at Settings
   > General.
 * Have you made the change there by any chance?

 * Unfortunately I can’t seem to find any place in the General Settings where my
   email is listed or any place where I can change my email.
 * Would it help if I told you what my settings are right now?

 * Hmm, that’s odd. Are you using Multisite? If so, the email setting would be in
   the Network Admin page as detailed here:
    [http://codex.wordpress.org/Network_Admin_Settings_Screen](http://codex.wordpress.org/Network_Admin_Settings_Screen)
 * Otherwise, the setting would exist by default in the General Settings page I 
   mentioned earlier, details here:
    [http://codex.wordpress.org/Settings_General_Screen](http://codex.wordpress.org/Settings_General_Screen)
 * Those would be the only two places the options should show. Maybe you’ve got 
   another plugin that’s removed it?
