[resolved] Switching Admin Email (4 posts)

    Hi,

    I need to switch the email address that I, as an Admin, receive new appointment emails in. I changed my WordPress user email address to the new email address I would like to receive new appointment notifications in, but that didn't work.

    I was using my college email address, but I'll be losing that email relatively soon so I need to switch. Unfortunately, I know NOTHING about coding... but any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi there @csharned,

    The plugin should actually use the email specified in the settings at Settings > General.

    Have you made the change there by any chance?

    Hi David,

    Unfortunately I can't seem to find any place in the General Settings where my email is listed or any place where I can change my email.

    Would it help if I told you what my settings are right now?

    Hi there @csharned,

    Hmm, that's odd. Are you using Multisite? If so, the email setting would be in the Network Admin page as detailed here:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Network_Admin_Settings_Screen

    Otherwise, the setting would exist by default in the General Settings page I mentioned earlier, details here:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Settings_General_Screen

    Those would be the only two places the options should show. Maybe you've got another plugin that's removed it?
