Here are some tips to troubleshoot your issue. The issue here is a WordPress white screen of death! Might be a mis-configured plugin that happened during the move. Since you can’t log into WordPress’ admin area, you’ll most likely need the FTP approach:

Have you tried checking your server’s error logs for clues?

WPisMyPuppet – Thank you for the suggestion. I’ll try manually disabling the plugins and see what happens.

Esmi – No, I haven’t gone that far, but that will be my step after next. I’ll get back to you both tonight and see what I find.

    Cheers,
    A.

Checking in: Neither of those solutions worked. I removed the plugins and tried again, to no avail, and my error log was empty.

I decided to bite the bullet and just reinstall from the ground up. So I deleted the faulty install on the new server, downloaded a fresh version of WP (3.4.1), updated its config file with my details, then uploaded it. WP upgraded my DB and voila, I was back into my blog.

I then uploaded my semi-custom theme, turned it on. Checked all my pages, they were broken. Went back, reset my permalinks (turned on default, saved, tested, turned on custom, saved tested).

Then I uploaded all my uploads to my new Uploads file and all the images worked again, and then everything was fine.

So, rather than troubleshoot I started fresh, and this time it worked.

Thanks to both of you for all your help,
    A.
