switch my main network site home page to wp-login.php

  • Hi, everyone.

I want that my home page of the root site will be the login page, (what WordPress calls wp-login.php).

How can it be done? It has to be a simple way, without major hacks…

I’ll like to here about such a way.

    Thanks.

  • The best way I can think of would be to make a static front page which checks to see if you’re logged in and redirects if not.

You might try using the redirection plugin to create a redirect from / to that page or create a custom home page that includes the login code from that page….

    Redirection sucks.

    Eventually i:
    1. Created home.php (as a copy of page.php)
    2. Took wp-login and integrated it into home.php
    3. Solved some “require once” issues and…
    4. done.

login from the front page of the network.

don’t be so unfaithful, wordpress can take it all.
