Switch from Typepad to WordPress. Where did everybody go?

    @rockandrollmark

    I switched over from Typepad to WordPress in April. My site http://www.rockandrollreport.com has always been mapped to that domain name but since the switch hits on the site have dropped dramatically. I assumed it was because Google has to re-index the site but shouldn’t that have happened by now? Is there something I am missing here?

    It had to reindex and then recalculate page rank and most likely unless your permalink structure matches perfectly then most of your backlinks are broken now therefore affecting your pagerank. Use something like Google webmaster tools and provide them with a sitemap of your site for quicker indexing.
