Switch between 2 sliders in the same page using mediaquery

Hi. I am learning and understanding slowly about css and how to use mediaqueries. So far I have been able to manage to solve most of the issues but now I have one that I cannot really figure out. So by using media/only various sizes I can hide and show certain elements. So I have one slider that is landscape that looks good on desktop but it looks quite bad on mobile. So first I created a mobile/redirect and 2 sliders, one landscape, one portrait but then it becomes so messy with these mobile redirects so i thought I would put the 2 sliders on the same page but using mediaquery hide and show. However, it appears that it is called the same thing the slider so it looks like I have to decide between hiding both or none. Have someone else found a decent solution to this problem?
