Hello!
I have updated several plugins and WP to 5.6 version recently.
Now I’m getting black overlay with some buttons which do not work on frontend. This element has an id #swipebox-overlay and it overlaps all content. How can I resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Hello
thanks for reporting me this issue
Could you please install the new version of Venice Lite?Thank you
Alex
I’ve installed the new version and now the issue seems gone.
@dromanov31 I had the same problem with the new WordPress update. Here is what helped me to get rid of this problem.Follow these steps:
Dashboard -> Customize -> Custom CSS ->#swipebox-overlay {
display: none !important
}Okay, I don’t know what to do..
Hello, same problem with ‘Responsive Lightbox & Gallery’ plugin, it doesn’t fix updating the theme. I had to deactivate the plugin on all my domains.
Hello @menegate @wecubestudio
the issue should be fixed by the plugin/theme author
Maybe you can fix this issue replacing jquery.swipebox.js file (included with Responsive Lightbox & Gallery plugin and Constructo Theme) with the file included with Venice theme
https://themes.svn.wordpress.org/venice-lite/1.3.7/assets/js/jquery.swipebox.js
Please let me know
Alex
For this moment I’ve used an plugin suggested by another user on the forum called WP Downgrade, to revert to the 5.5.3 version of WordPress, maybe I’ll wait for further releases, or try it again some other time
In any case, I kindly thank you for the help
Regards,
Rafael
Same issue with Optima plugin https://recoverycarepartner.com/
If you click on the nav bar it opens that black overlay. I’ve replaced the .js file but what will happen if that theme gets updated again? You guys must fix it.

Hello @ayrancd
I’m not the developer of Swipebox jQuery plugin
The issue has been fixed on Venice Lite and is generated by Swipebox jQuery plugin
You should contact the support of Optima plugin
Thank you
This thread really saved me, after I switch off ‘Responsive Lightbox & Gallery’ plugin, everything is back to normal 🙂
