Swift not exporting

I set up Swift on localhost, it worked well, then tried to transfer to my production site.

All I got on the latter was a blackground which could not be changed, no designed changes were saveable.
I had to revert to my previous theme. A pity because Swift looked great on the testbed localhost but was unuseable when required to go ‘live’.

I have looked for solutions but haven’t found one.
