 * Short answer: no.
 * Long: an .swf is not a video file, it’s a program that is executed by the flash
   web-browser plugin. A .swf might behave like a video, either because it embeds/
   loads a video, or generates graphics etc., but it’s not a video (it’s not like.
   mp4, .webm, .ogg, .flv).
 * SWFPut includes a .swf flash program that is a video player (and also a HTML5
   player), designed for video files like .mp4 or .flv.
 * Finally, a .swf program can play another .swf — depending on whats in the .swf
   to be played — but that’s a sort of special application. SWFPut is designed to
   be general and reliable, so it does not attempt to play arbitrary .swf executables
   with unknown behavior.
