    Hi. I keep trying to upload .swf file but keep getting message that for security reasons file type is not allowed. Could you please help me.

    Hello @toni123098,

    I am sorry that I am not able to understand your questions clearly.

    But looking at your first question you are not able to upload the .swf file.

    And yes, WordPress by default only allows certain file extensions to be upload on WordPress.

    If you want to have other file extensions to be uploaded then you can install and activate the WP Extra File Types plugin via Dashboard > Plugins > Add New.
