Hi! Thank you for this great looking and simple to use plugin. I have already used it on several sites without any problems.

I have a question, though: Is it safe to use wp-sweep on a site with more than 40.000 posts and a lot more postmeta-data? I have found that using loops that need to process a lot of columns can more often than not lead to timeouts and other errors; not only on underpowered webhosts. Unfortunately I have to deal with such webhosts, and I do not want to cause trouble by trying to prevent trouble.

So, is it safe to be used in an environment describe above?

    Thank you!

I can’t answer that because it really varies from server to server and how well the database can cope with it and your site traffic at that time.

The biggest site I used it on has 58k Posts and 285k Post Meta.

I set the timeout to 5 mins and it works fine. Having said that, the biggest site I mentioned has a physical dedicated server web server for admin to use as well as a dedicated database.
