The latest post a client published is having google analytics capture this query string. I dont think it should be doing that. Why would it?

    Hi,
are you using other caching plugins or page builders to write your contents? The reasons can be:

    1. Another caching plugins added in its own cache the page while the user was logged in, with the cache buster appendend to the internal links
    2. The internal link with the cache buster has been saved into the database

The code that adds the cache buster does (should) not edit links into the classic wordpress editor, so they are not stored into the db.

Can you please give me more information? Also via mail if you desire

Sorry, I replied but it didn’t post.

The site has lightspeed cache for the server.

    They are supposed to integrate.

    Should I make some changes.

@valhalar How you have added the Google Analytics code on your site? I’ve had you added it by adding code in your functions.php or added via some plugins?
The reason I’m asking this is to know if the Google Analytics code is getting added to your HTML even when you have logged in as admin cause if that’s the case then as an admin anything you visit it will have that query string attached to it and Google Analytics script will catch it.
