SVN – using my repo with WP Repo for upgrades?

Hi

I have a SVN setup so I can develop on WP in a development area … and push though the changes to the production area. This is working out great … but I didn’t consider how I would upgrade WP.

So … if I am already using SVN as a version control on my website between dev and live areas … is it possible to still use SVN to access the WP Repo for updates?

I tried using svn merge command – either it won’t work in this situation or I’m using it wrong. Can I use ‘svn checkout’ to add another repo? I’m still new to SVN and it seemed like this might just confuse the situation if I was using two different CO
