    Hi helipilot,

    Thanks for your support.
That sounds a bit odd. Can you please provide a url where I can test this myself (when I am with someone with an iPhone)… I can possibly troubleshoot before then anyway.

    Cheers
    Ben

I am having a similar issue.

    Hi johnnyrains,

Sorry to hear you have a similar issue.
Can you please provide a URL where I can run some tests?

    Cheers
    Ben

    of course:
    johnullyatt.com
the image specifically is of the site title, top left corner (where it says, John Ullyatt)

Works great on Safari, and interestingly a different font on Firefox.

I don’t know much about SVG, do I have to embed the font?

    Hi Johnnyrains,

Sorry for the delayed reply! I did some testing and forgot, been so all over the place during holiday season!
I believe your issue is with the actual SVG file as it can’t be opened in Illustrator due to an unknown error and when you go to it’s upload URL directly, it renders actual text.
I’m no SVG expert but it seems like you could save it differently and it would work fine. Possibly embed/outline the font, that could work. Since I can’t open the file, I can’t edit it to see how that goes.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks for your help. The plugin obviously works, so I took your advice, and did the outline thing. Also, miraculously, I had not used a Retina version of the logo. So I did that too with the theme I am using. And Voilà!

    So thanks

    Happy New Year

Thanks for letting me know 🙂
I’m glad you got it to work.
Happy New Year to you too!!!

I will also close this ticket as the original issue has not been reproduced.

    Cheers
    Ben
