    Hi to all,
I have an issue that honestly I don’t know if it is the expected behaviour, but at least I want to be sure about this, cause is giving me a sort of slow down on mobile chrome android devices.

If I use svg flags (I have simply followed this guide https://polylang.pro/doc/can-i-use-my-own-flags-for-the-language-switcher/ ) everything works perfectly, but if you check google chrome inspector as you can see here:

the flags are downloading twice, the second time with a long ttfb. On desktop version it doesn’t matter at all, but on mobile I noticed that this happens before the content loads and my preloader/spinner is not leaving until a so little flag is loaded(due the long ttfb).

The issue doesn’t occours with png standard icons, I don’t know if is related to the svg format or the custom icon itself. The issue happens with or without caching/lazy load features, and I can confirm that using standard flags doesn’t gives to me the double loads.
    many many thanks
