Hi @nanie954, thanks for reaching out! Could you please try the following adjustments for these features that could potentially cause the conflict?
- Disable Default Ban List feature (Security > Settings > Configure > Lockouts > Default Ban List)
- Enable XML-RPC feature (Security> Settings> Advanced > WordPress Tweaks> Enable XML-RPC) and allow Default Access to the REST API
- Disable the PHP Execution options (Security > Settings > Advanced > System Tweaks)
If the above does not help, please try deactivating the currently active iTSec features one at a time to see if the issue resolves. I hope this helps!
Hello and thank you, it doesn’t work 🙂
@nanie954 I see. There could be a conflict between the Avada theme setting and iThemes Security.
Do you get the “Sorry, you are not allowed to upload this file type.” error when uploading a .svg file? If so, can you please try the recommended methods here and see if it helps? If unsure, you can opt for the last method, where a code snippet needs to be added to your wp-config.php
file, and ask your hosting provider to add it for you. You can also refer here for more information on editing the wp-config.php
file.
I hope this helps, and please let me know how it goes.
