    When trying to upload my svg favicon (favico-01.svg, 512px x 512px as asked), it asks to crop your image (why?) and when you click “crop it”, it says:
    “There has been an error cropping your image.”

    Can you help me?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

    Firstly, thanks for your choice using my plugin.

    This is because SVG files are not images so can not be cropped. You will need to add some code to your theme functions.php in order to avoid the cropping.

    Here’s the most recent thread about this: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/image-crop-error-for-beginners/

    But to save you time, the code you will most likely need to use is:

    add_action( 'after_setup_theme', 'bodhi_svg_theme_support', 11 );
    function bodhi_svg_theme_support() {

    	remove_theme_support( 'custom-logo' );

    	add_theme_support( 'custom-logo', array(
    		'flex-width'  => true,
    		'flex-height' => true,
    	) );

    }

    However!

    It seems you’re not trying to do it with the theme logo, but with a favicon… so it may be a little different, but try that any way. You may need to find what the slug is for your favicon and replace custom-logo with your favicon slug.

    But, I would suggest using favicons properly by placing them in the root of your site and using a service like https://realfavicongenerator.net/ to generate a nice suite of icons and tiles. That will completely avoid using your theme’s features for favicon and will allow you to switch themes while keeping your favicon in the future too.
