Support » Fixing WordPress » SVG Arrows on slider how to change

  • Any thoughts on this.

Have a test site using Meta slider with Flex Slider tab > Arrows checkbox selected.
The Prev Next arrows show as < and >

I want to amend to a solid right and left facing triangle.

I did not originally set this up so I can’t find where the value is configured, it is simple enough to set up an SVG using the wp-svg-icons menu option to generate a > symmbol on any other icon in the default list to go onto a page

For example [wp-svg-icons icon=”home-2″ wrap=”div”] will put a little housey image on a page, that’s all well and good.

Unfortunately I cannot pin down how/where that has been ‘plugged’ into the slider anywhere to generate the < > icons.

If I look at the console / CSS I see this code
    “flex-prev:before {content: “\e15b”; ” So the code e15b generates the < >

I thought that if I changed this ‘code’ I could get a different result, unfortunately the code I found does not seem to equate to a solid right / left facing triangle, it shows a square bracket for some reason.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get what I need ?

This page has got a nice list of code symbols. Looks like the arrows section probably has what you want.

Thanks Becky but that is not my query.
Perhaps I did not explain fully.

I would like to know HOW to change them from what they are set to already.

My problem is that I can’t find out where in the slider controls / css the <> items can be changed. |I see how to turn them off and on but not how to specify a different one.
