Suspicious redirects in requests done to load my site

Hi,

My site is loading too slow.
I did a website speedtest using http://tools.pingdom.com and one of the topics I scored bad on was “Minimize redirects” 31/100.

It states the following:

When looking at the page source code i can’t find any of these links.
Some of them look suspicious. So I’m really worried.

I downloaded my complete site and ran a Malware check. I also installed Sucuri Security and did a check. Again everything was fine.

How can I find out what triggers these redirects? How can I remove them?

Those are ad servers. Are you running ads on your site?

Thx for your response.
I’m not running any Adds on my site. Only some Affiliate links but not on my homepage.

Yeah, I’m not seeing any trace of those domains in your source. Which page does Pingdom think the redirects are happening on?

I received the same “minimize redirects” suggestion for my site and many of the same sites were listed (px.owneriq.net, ads.yahoo.com, doubleclick).

It turned out they were being added to my site by the Shareaholic plugin I had installed. By logging onto my Shareaholic account on their website, I was able to deselect the option to allow third-party analytics and had no more warnings about the redirects.

@feurerj thank you so much for posting that information! I was really afraid one of my sites got hacked.
To add to the topic, these can be disabled from your wp-admin: just go to Shareholic -> Advanced Setting and check ALL checkboxes in the first list.

Thanks a million for finding the solution – Been going around the bend with this – Shareaholic could at least be upfront and tell us about the redirect and cookies – bad form!
