@tonyurwin I’m seeing a total of 88 subscribers for the site in your WordPress.com account. The Jetpack subscription block in the right sidebar is showing 86 subscribers. Is that what you’re referring to?

It looks like the site has a caching plugin enabled by your web host. I’d recommend clearing that cache to make sure the most recent subscriber count is showing in the Jetpack subscription block. Otherwise, and older, cached version may be being shown there.

Let us know how that goes!

Could you tell me how to clear the cache? Thanks.

@tonyurwin Jetpack support does not have that information, I’m afraid. Since the caching is enabled by your web host, I’d recommend contacting them to ask how to clear it in their caching plugin.

Hi – I don’t have a page cache plugin. I cleared all the Bluehost caches and it made no difference. This has happened before and someone from Jetpack went to my site and cleared a cache. Is there a Jetpack specific cache?

I have also just noticed that the blog stats figure has not updated for a long time on the home page. It is stuck on 24,125 while the Insights page shows 27,589 views. Presumably linked to the other issue.

Hi – Is it possible for someone to look at this further?

@tonyurwin As a next step, please follow this guide to clear the transients on your site: https://jetpack.com/support/extra-sidebar-widgets/blog-stats-widget/#troubleshooting

I found and deleted 12 and the hits have now updated correctly on the homepage.

The subscribers total has not updated.  I noted there were two transients: wpcom_subscribers_totals.  Should I delete these?
