• I asked about my site not working properly since the recent update and received no support on it at all. Instead of help, any posts updating the situation (that was almost 1 month old!) were simply deleted.

I find that incredibly rude. Yes, this is a free software but how about some common courtesy in the form of a reply? If there is no solution, just say so.

Now the topic has been closed without resolution.

And, before you say I was posting too many times please don’t bother as that’s not the truth. I would wait over a week for any sort of response (from WP people or others on the forum) before updating. Surely that’s better than writing another post?

I’m expecting this post to be deleted also (if current standards are adhered to) but I am hoping for a reply.

And therein lies the problem. You seem to have been effectively bumping an old thread.

Do not bump posts. Bumping a post to “the top” does not help your topic get noticed. The volunteers who try to answer questions look for those without replies first. If you bump a post, then it disappears from the “No Replies” view. DO NOT BUMP.

Moderators will delete bumps they find. This is in order to help you get back into the No Replies listing, where you are more likely to get an answer.

As you bumped this old topic not once but twice in rapid succession, I assume a decision was taken to close the topic. I can only suggest that you try posting a new topic – if necessary, referencing the previous closed one.
