First: I was looking for a plug-in with wich I can calculate within a contact form 7. I found “calculate contact form 7” in the wordpress store. Downloaded it and activated it. Several calculations didn’t work well, but a pro-version should do. So I bought ($15,00) the pro-version, installed it and activated after déactivation of the free version.

Now the calculations are wellprogrammed, but the page would not directly update the results. So I contacted the developper of the plug-in to ask what I should do to let the contactform calculations work.

The contactperson asked only the admin account. Than he would look at the problem.

This is not the way I give login accounts away and did not respond to his/her call yet. I ‘m not sure if this is an appropriate question.

What is your opinion? Should I give the admin details????
My form still does not work properly 😭

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    For free plugins:

Forum guidelines clearly prohibit any credentials sharing or asking for them.

Do not post or ask for login information, even test IDs and test passwords.

    Also predefined reply: https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/contributing-to-the-wordpress-forums/stock-answers/#someone-asking-for-credentials

which describe various ways to debug issues.

However, for “pro” products – you are on your own, premium product support is outside of scope for wordpress.org support forums.

    Dear Yui,
Thanx for answering / replying to my posted topic.
If I understand this well, than I’m not so smart to buy the Pro-version to solve the not working calculation. But better first solve it in the free version.

In case I buy a Pro-version I have no rights confirming the WordPress policy.

I have to lean on de PRO-version support of the developer. But I agree and for me it’s clearly that any support should be prohibited to ask for any credentials. I’m fortunate aware of the danger to give any login information.
I’ll contact the developer again and ask for a decently, secure solution. If not, than deactivate, delete the plugin and search for an alternative.
    Thanx again.
