With WP Mobile Pack you can have a menu that consists of Categories and Pages. At the moment it doesn’t support any other type of menu items. What exactly do you have in mind?
Now menu is split into categories & pages.
How can I get my own list of items in menu. Example:
– page 1
– page 2
– cat 1
– cat 2
– cat 3
– page 3
etc

My site uses a custom post type “Place” with a custom category “PostCategory” and these both get lost in mobile templates which only seem to want to display the normal posts and categories. I am using GeoTheme which is a very popular directory theme and is used in several variants across thousands of travel and location websites.
BTW, did you really reply 3 months ago? I only got the notification from WordPress a couple of hours ago.

Yes, we did reply 3 months ago, as you can imagine it’s not possible to hack into WordPress and change a comment’s date 🙂 . The last notification you have received must have been from miai’s post, I doubt that a message would be delivered after such a long time.

What you’re describing is possible at this point only with a custom implementation of the mobile web app. We have made the sources public, for anyone that wants to modify the app and make it more suitable to their needs: https://github.com/appticles/wordpress-mobile-pack-app.
We do plan to add more features to the plugin, right now we’re focusing on SEO and we’ll continue by integrating more of WordPress’s default settings and the most popular plugins, like Disqus for example.
