Support for a Specific Theme

    I am having a difficult time modifying a theme I just activated on our self-hosted site – the theme Creativ IX – I have the following questions:
    1) This theme has a rotating gallery on the home page – this option is enabled in the THEME OPTIONS setting – but for some reason, it is not displaying. What’s wrong?

    2) How do I reinstate the out-of-the-box settings for a theme? The work I do, the farther away the page gets from its original state.

    One thing you might try is to disable all plugins, revert back to a default theme (such as Twenty Twelve for the latest WordPress), then delete, re-download and reactivate your chosen theme…then go slowly and methodically as you try the gallery and begin re-enabling plugins while watching for conflicts.
