Support » Plugin: Mailchimp for WooCommerce » Support admitted to it being broken

After support tried telling me to do the same thing over and over again to try and fix the lack of syncing, they finally admitted that there is a core problem with their plugin.

They recognise that it is broken and informed me that the next update would fix the issue. This hasn’t happened.

I am going to look for a suitable alternative.

My recommendation – stop using mailchimp.

    Hey @crabsandwich,

Thanks for your feedback. I came across your review and wanted to chime in to see if I could help provide any troubleshooting assistance or pass any useful feedback to our developers.

Just to get a handle on the situation you’ve experienced so far, could you provide a few pieces of information to help me catch up?

    – Could you provide any screenshots/screencast of this issue?
    – Is there any logging present in the plugin’s logs tab when it’s set to standard or debug?

Also, I just wanted to pass along that the plugin was updated last week and many improvements were realized with the syncing engine. If you haven’t updated, please give it a try. Lastly, if you have a busier site, you may consider using the CLI version to provide you with more control.

Thanks in advance for these details. I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

    – Kyle
