# Supercache problems

 * I am trying to install the wordpress supercache plugin on my blog hosted by asmallorange
   and I got this message.
 * advanced-cache.php does not exist
    Create it by executing: ln -s /home/melogkna/
   public_html/mysite.com/news/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase1.
   php /home/melogkna/public_html/mysite.com/news/wp-content/advanced-cache.php 
   in your server Or by copying /home/melogkna/public_html/mysite.com/news/wp-content/
   plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php to /home/melogkna/public_html/mysite.
   com/news/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.
 * Cannot continue… fix previous problems and retry.
 * I contacted them and they attempted to fix it but now I get this message.
 * Error: Configuration file missing and wp-content directory (/home/melogkna/public_html/
   mysite.com/news/wp-content) is not writable by the Web server.
    Check its permissions.
   Cannot continue… fix previous problems and retry.
 * Any idea how to remedy this problem? Thanks in advance for the help.

 * fix the permissions issue. it’s right there, in front of you:
 * _Error: Configuration file missing and wp-content directory (/home/melogkna/public\
   _html/mysite.com/news/wp-content) is not writable by the Web server.
    Check its
   permissions. Cannot continue… fix previous problems and retry.

 * I already fixed the permissions error and it came up with the same error message.
   What is the configuration file that is missing?
