Supercache error preventing me from logging in (6 posts)

I installed wp-supercache, had problems, uninstalled, got errors and am got confused by the instructions for how to uninstall as I am not a programmer and haven't seen progress from my current programmer. See http://www.greenlivinggoddess.com/wordpress

The errors are preventing me from logging in to my dashboard. Originally I was trying to speed up the site and godaddy tech recommended I install supercache among other things.

Can I go to my server and delete the supercache folder from the wp-plugin directory? Are there simple steps a non-programmer can follow?

    Thanks

if you deactivate the si-captcha-for-wordpress plugin, the error should go away

If I deactivate captcha then how will I prevent spammers from overloading my comment section trying to collect links?

you don't have to have captcha for that

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cookies-for-comments/
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bad-behavior/
both of these work well together for humans and bots

Great thanks, I'll use the plugins you recommended but at the moment, I can't get to my dashboard because of the errors. So how do I deactivate captcha?

Whether I click on the bookmark for my login page or add wp-admin after my blog URL, I get the same error page with no opportunity to login.

ftp to site or use host's file manager and rename the si-captcha-for-wordpress to something else
this will deactivate it and let you log in
