• Hi David,

Just wanted to say thank you very much for a super impressive plugin. I have struggled with media files for years and finally I have been able to clean up the first website and got rid of at least 200 images, I was previously to scared to delete.

The only thing that didn’t work for me is the Gallery function, as I am using the DIVI page builder. It doesn’t seem to recognise the Gallery module. I have been able to work our since as I don’t have many Galleries.

    Thanks so much!

Thanks for your review and the positive feedback. I am happy to see that MLA has been useful for your application.

You wrote “The only thing that didn’t work for me is the Gallery function“. MLA does not have a “Gallery” function, but perhaps you are referring to the [mla_gallery] shortcode. If that’s true and it is not working for you, you can always open a support topic and I will investigate further.

Thanks again for the review and for your interest in the plugin.

    Hi David,

    Thanks for your response.

I use the Divi theme and I set the Gallery and MLA Gallery to Refresh, but it didn’t seem to pick up the images I used in the Divi Gallery module. I had a quick look at the documentation, but because we have only some galleries, I didn’t want to spend too much time on it.

If you could have a look that would be great. I can provide a login to a development site for testing.

    Thanks

    Kind regards

    Regine

Thanks for your update with the additional information. I now know you are referring to the “Gallery in” category of MLA’s “where-used” functions.

You are right, the “Gallery in” function will display references to an item’s use in the WordPress [gallery] shortcode, which is also used by many lightbox and slideshow plugins. However, the Divi Gallery module, like many theme-specific functions, works different and is not picked up by “Gallery in”.

I regret that it is not practical for me to support the wide variety of gallery-like features in themes and plugins. Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks David, no problem at all. I can live with that.
    Still love your plugin.
