[Resolved] Super-Admin Dahsboard Redirects to profile.php

The /wp-admin/index.php (the Dashboard) redirects to the profile.php, but only for the Super Admin account, the other users still see the dashboard.

In the “Backend Options” section there is a “Dashboard deactivate, redirect to” option, set to “Default (profile.php)”, but I never explicitely deactivated the dashboard! And I can find an option to activate/deactivate it, either.

If I deactivate the Adminize plugin, I can see the Super Admin Dashboard again, so it’s the plugin doing this.

    What’s wrong? Please help.

If you will deactivate the dashboard, then is this an option in the menus to each roles. If you deactivate the dashboard no a role, then is the rewrite on Backend Options active.

This is rather difficult, not very logical, and causes unexpected behavior. It’s not at all explicit. I solved it like this (I’ll put it here for posterity):

In Adminize -> “Menu Options”, for “Dashboard” I only had checked “Deactivate for Subscriber” – I deactivated that now.

I can now see the Super Admin Dashboard…
