Summary of various bugs/issues with v1.8.13 and earlier

    This report is long overdue, as somehow I never found time to report the issues described below when I actually encountered them (excuses, excuses…). But better late than never, and inspired by Matt’s recent call for more community contribution, here goes.

    • Filled In v1.8.13 + WP v3.9
    • Cannot edit forms if constant 'DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT' is 'true' in ‘wp-config.php’.
    • Minor: plugin throws many PHP notices on deprecated stuff used in filters and processors (I have not taken specific notes, but can be hunted down with help of Log Deprecated Notices).
    • Filled In v1.8.13 + WP v3.5.1
    • Completely breaks a WP Multisite install – as I experienced that with WP v3.5.1, and have to work mostly with Multisite installs lately, this was the breaker for me personally, so I haven’t tested w/ newer WP versions, but I suspect it haven’t gotten any better. Of course I also do understand that this plugin does not promise any Multisite-compatibility, but I think it’s still a serious issue, as it should at least fail gracefully and/or warn the Multisite developer when failing.
    • Filled In < v1.8.13 + WP < v3.5.1
    • Emails sent by the plugin come in with “double dots” in email addresses used in the email message body, e.g. “someone[at]somedomain.com” is rendered as => “someone[at]somedomain..com”. Seemingly random, some email addresses are affected, some not.
    • The “Email templates” don’t come over when doing an SQL export/import.
    • “You are not allowed access to this resource” error message for “Attachments” under “Email templates”.

    I am willing to re-test these cases with fresh versions of Filled In and WP, should the authors show interest in me doing so. As said, this report is based on my earlier notes, so all the issues would need re-confirming. However, I’m also posting this because maybe it could help someone else.
