• When clicking a blog category within my site I get a long page of every post (shown in full) ever written for that category.

However I notice from e.g. http://wordpress.org/development/2008/04/wordpress-251/, when selecting a category from the side bar, I get a snippet summary of posts within in that category. Similar to how search results are displayed.

Does anyone know how do that? I have been searching for a plugin for a long time with no joy!

    Regards, Brian

  • You don’t need a plugin. your theme may have a category.php file, in which you need to limit the characters shown (i.e. post length). sorry too tired to explain in full – sure the answer is on the forum already…
