suggest.js

Good afternoon, I was wondering if anyone had got this feature to work? I have been googling and trying all sorts of suggestions but to no avail. I have tried this, http://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/58576/auto-complete-or-auto-suggest-from-list-of-post-titles as well as this, http://sudarmuthu.com/blog/using-wordpress-built-in-tag-auto-complete-script-in-your-plugins/ and some other version of the second link that I found on the forum. I have a custom search form with 2 search boxes, one for each taxonomy. I have pre-populated the taxonomies, one for foo and one for bar. I would like to have suggestions to made from the taxonomy table as the user is typing in each of the search boxes so that they are able to select what ever. I can see that the suggest.js folder is being loaded and my request is being sent but I am getting a 404 error, not found. Not sure where to go from here. Any help will be appreciated.
