    Thank you for your immediate response.

    I tried both scripts on functions.php of the child theme. Unfortunately I didn’t see any changes. Have I done something wrong?

    There should be a Views column on the post manage page (where you find the list of all of your posts in the admin section). If it’s not there you probably overlooked something. Hard to tell without actually seeing what you did over there 😛
