  • Thanks for the plugin, it’s awesome.

    Some suggestions:

    – Show the links list (edit.php?post_type=wp-link-bio) ordered by “order”, like in the public page

    – Show “order” in a column in the links list (edit.php?post_type=wp-link-bio)

    – Add the link field on the “Quick edit” option

  • – Add actions to the header, layout and footer layouts so that developers can inject additional HTML or CSS

    – Allow html acnhors on links (the utm parameters kill it)

    Example: https://musicfest.pt/festival-edicao/sumol-summer-fest-2019/#noticias?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=WP-Link-Bio

    – Option to NOT use the utm parameters

    – Make the CPT not public (no public link) or redirect it to the link filled on the “link” field

    Hi, Marco!

    Thanks for your suggestions!

We released an update today with 2 new features (emojis and animation support) and some fixes based on your feedback.

    Accepted and Fixed

    – Show the links list (edit.php?post_type=wp-link-bio) ordered by “order”, like in the public page
    – Allow html acnhors on links (the utm parameters kill it)
    – Option to NOT use the utm parameters (We removed them so that you can add your own UTMs)
    – Make the CPT not public (no public link) or redirect it to the link filled on the “link” field

Rejected (maybe in the future 😉. comments below)

    – Show “order” in a column in the links list (edit.php?post_type=wp-link-bio)

We partially did it, but we need to figure out how to add support to the drag & drop reorder plugins we recommend (it didn’t work).

    – Add actions to the header, layout and footer layouts so that developers can inject additional HTML or CSS

If you want to inject custom code, you can use native head and footer filters. To add custom CSS, you can include via Theme Customizer.

    – Add the link field on the “Quick edit” option

    Maybe in the next release.

    Awesome!

Suggestion: Add icons that accompany certain social links (e.g. FB, Instagram, Twitter, etc.). Either user selects the appropriate icon from a drop-down or the user uploads their own icons.

Suggestion: allow the user to upload thumbnails using the Featured Image option. Great for podcasters and instagrammers. Here’s an example of how it could be used. https://linkmy.photos/goodlion.io
