  • Really like it. I think this will help a lot of people publish their content from a variety of depositories. I can also imagine this will work really well with CSS Grid ( if that is implemented in your theme) when that is adapted by most browsers used to access your website.

My only gripe with it currently is that the +insert menu has a lot of blocks. It’s a fairly straightforward principle that direct access (asking you to interpret a symbol or text) performs better than sequential access (asking you to remember) in cognitive science.

It seems like there’s enough space at the top to break it down, i.e., instead of just “+insert” at the top, why not “+common +formatting +layout +widgets”.

Seems like blocks could also be organized inside a sidebar menu.

Thanks for your review. You bring up a great point being investigated a little already by the team, but more investigation is great. One thing soon to be added is categorisation of embeds. It will be interesting to see how that helps that set of blocks, how that could be moved forward and expanded to help with other sorting.
