Should be added an option to send an email from blog email address to visitor email address or from addthis email address to visitor email address with the shared URL and customized message.

This is good for who are trying to send an email but not have client installed or email is different from gmail or yahoo. The website should have an option to directly send from the blog… just ask to the user the email of friend to send and custom message to append to the URL of the shared content.
