    Its me again πŸ˜‰

While playing with your fantastic Theme, i had the idea that it would look very nice, if the Search would be locatetd in the Main Menu as an further option.
When i center the Site Title and Description in the Header and have Search option “Header” active, the Search is a very wide input-field under the Title and Description, nearly the same as the Search option “Search bar”, exept that the Search is inside The Header.
With a third possible location for the Search called “Main Menu” at Customize – Header – Search, there would be the possibility to have the Search positioned without spending extra height for the dispaly of the Search.

The behavior of the Search inside the Main Menu could be the same as if located in the Header. Its alignment depends on the alignment of the Menu.

What do you think about this suggestion?

    Regards
    Joachim

    Hi there,

I was also surprised, it should not stretch itself like that. It’ll be like before in the update next week. Thanks.

In order to include the search in the main menu, disable that and use this plugin:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-search-to-menu/
The β€œPopup” style works best, otherwise you may need to add some CSS.
It is under Ivory Search → Menu Search → Header → Style.

    Hope it helps!
