SUGGESTION: Radio Button not only Checkbox

    When will Wordprss have a radio button instead of checkbox for post type categories or even taxonomies? In some situations, I only want one category per post but I know I can check as many as I want.. would be great a way to remove the checkbox and change it to a radio button instead.

    That sounds like a plugin, because by default, you can have multiple categories (or any hierarchical taxonomy). The majority wants the default.

    @joyously I know we can check multiple categories because of the checkbox. What I am suggesting is that WordPress should have a radio button options so users can only select one category not many, without a plugin.

    Yes, I understood that. But it is unlikely to happen in core WP, because the developers tend to code for the majority. They often cite the “80/20 rule”.

    So I suggest you write the plugin or find one, if that’s what you want.
