    Hi Ivole,

Great reviews plugin. Maybe consider the following:

    – Image submission/upload via email.
    – “Load More” button after ‘x’ amount of reviews.
    – Allow only one review per product per verified purchaser
    – optional ‘required checkbox’ prior to submitting your review button !important

    Questions:

    ——
In the pro version will we be able to change the notice address in the email footer? I read in your reply to another thread about needing an address associated with the 3rd party. However, will it not be possible to add our own or link to such relative information within our policies/privacy, etc.? Just make it a requirement in a separate admin field.

    ——
Privacy is a large concern for consumers. Will we be able to leave a link in the footer to our site’s privacy policy and how your information is shared with Customer Reviews 3rd party? Naturally, we will need to update our policy section with your information, but I’d think that the reviewer will need to acknowledge such information prior to submitting of a review maybe via a required checkbox.

    ——
How will such information (Name, Email & Item Purchased) be used and stored and/or shared by Customer Reviews Plugin servers? Obviously, your service captures this data via the plugin, then forwards it back to our site. How long do you keep this info on your servers and do you have plans on sharing this data with others outside your own organization?

I know you mentioned within these threads of possibly offering a review verification process to piggy back this plugin at a later date. It would indicate you are content on storing this customer info indefinitely. Just want to make sure the info will not be sold or shared with other 3rd party organizations.

Love the plugin! Hope you don’t take offense to my questions, just making sure of a few key points.

    Good Job,

    Stu

I just noticed the (Terms and Conditions for Reviewers) on the reviews page @ cusrev. That’s what I was looking for. Excellent!

    Thanks

Thank you for the interest in my plugin and suggestions of new features!

    – Image submission/upload via email. -> It is already in the to-do list.
    – “Load More” button after ‘x’ amount of reviews. -> Do you mean dynamic loading of all reviews on a single page without pagination?
    – Allow only one review per product per verified purchaser -> I think it makes more sense to allow only one review per product per verified ORDER and not per verified PURCHASER. What do you think?
    – optional ‘required checkbox’ prior to submitting your review button -> Can you please clarify what should be the function of such a checkbox?

In the pro version will we be able to change the notice address in the email footer? -> Yes, you will be able to completely modify email footer. In the premium version, emails will be sent from your email address and domain, so you will be responsible for being compliant with various anti-SPAM regulations.

Will we be able to leave a link in the footer to our site’s privacy policy and how your information is shared with Customer Reviews 3rd party? -> You will be able to add it to the footer of the email in the premium version. There is also a link to default terms & conditions with a privacy policy on every review form generated by the plugin. However, I think that it is a bit too late to mention your site’s privacy policy in the email footer (because the act of information sharing has already took place at that point of time). You should add this information on your checkout page, so that customers are informed about information sharing beforehand. This can be done by adding a new clause to the terms and conditions that customers accept before placing their orders.

How will such information (Name, Email & Item Purchased) be used and stored and/or shared by Customer Reviews Plugin servers? -> This information is used to automatically generate aggregated review forms, host these review forms on cusrev.com and transfer submitted reviews back to the shop. This information will never be shared with or sold to any third-party. Currently, it is stored indefinitely and securely on Amazon Web Services for the review verification function that I hope to implement soon. In the future, I might need to regularly delete this information after certain time because of the costs associated with storing data. However, if there are many premium users of the plugin, this might cover the cost of data storage 🙂

I hope it answers your questions.

    Wow! Thanks for the reply.

    -Load More Button:
Perhaps you could dynamically load set amount of reviews such as 5 at a time before you would need to load the next set. Maybe by ajax loading so you’re not refreshing the page each time. This would help with those that have lots and lots of reviews and keep product page load times to a minimum.

    -Reviews:
What you said! “allow only one review per product per verified ORDER and not per verified PURCHASER”

    -Checkbox Requirement:
By adding a checkbox on your review submission page would make sure that the user acknowledges your terms & conditions link. At least so they know it’s there. I know I overlooked the link myself while testing.

Excellent! Thank you for your explanation. I look forward to using the pro version. I truly think you have the ability to provide a full time service with this plugin and wish you the best. The next closet thing is really out of reach for lots of smaller Woo Sites – I just hope you always allow us to keep ownership of our reviews.

    Look forward to the future!

Thank you for providing additional information and positive feedback! 🙂

I will try to implement these features in next versions of the plugin. Also, I have no plans for taking away reviews from shop owners!
