    Hi,

    You have a wonderful plugin, still testing it. Hopefully, the sitemap wont be altered, which I think it wont, because the actual filenames of the pics doesn’t get altered.

    I noticed that all my pics were worked, as far as what your plugin offers. But, images in different folders (aside from media library) do not get worked on.

    I think for future updates, it will be great if your plugin can define the path to a folder/subfolder where other images are so that it can do its work.

    Thanks for the suggestion and the kind words!

    The sitemap will not be altered as the plugin does not change permalinks, nor does it change the filenames for already existing images.

    And your observation is correct, images need to be in the media library, otherwise the plugin wouldn’t know what to look for.

    There are few plugins that will help you add the images to your media library in bulk: https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-from-server/ and https://wordpress.org/plugins/media-from-ftp/ . While I have used them in the past, I cannot vouch for them, so please test them before you use it.

    I am thinking about ways to work around cases when the images are not in the media library. This happens when users move the uploads folder from one install to another without importing the entire database.
