suggestion for use with cloudfront / s3

    Just to clarify.

    Presently UpdraftPlus has (for example):

    “Backup <weekly> and retain <52> backups”.

    Something more sophisticated would be:

    “Backup <weekly> and retain <52> backups but only <1> from each <month> after (month) number <2>”

    Alternatively:

    “But retain only every <4th> backup older than <1> <month>”

    Sounds simple, but having that kind of thing without making the user interface ugly/complicated is a challenge. I shall chew it over.
