Suggestion for filtering link to existing content

  • I’m not sure how many people have this same challenge, but I’m finding it more and more difficult to link to existing content. I often end up with at least one link to existing content in every post. Most often, this link is to an page, rather than a post. The problem is, as I accumulate more and more posts which link to the page, the page itself I want to link to moves further and further down the list, because even if I type in the exact title of the page, every post I’ve ever linked to that page is also listed. I can think of a couple of ways to solve this issue:

    1) Add tick-boxes to list only posts, only pages, or both to the filter.

    2) Add tick-boxes to search post title only, or title and text.

Either solution would solve the problem. Not sure which would be more generic.
