Oh, and would be great to support Elementor [or other] shortcodes if possible. This way can embed a styled element, a slider, etc.
Hi! Could you please describe what do you mean by supporting elementor shortcodes? I mean where do you want to embed a styled element and what relation it has with the tooltip? Thanks
Hi Mehbub,
Thanks for the speedy reply.
I mean, like if I create an Elementor saved styled element for image carousel or slider or testimonials it gets a shortcode I can then place in something.
I often use shortcodes to display a video [saved as an element I made and styled in a row] in a tabbed / accordion element or a FAQ element as they don’t support nesting elements in elements natively. So shortcodes is a solution [or addon plugins but that causes more bloat and security risk].
So if your tooltip supported shortcodes I could place a video, slider, testimonials etc in a tooltip.
Best if can be sized as desired or enlarged on hover on an image in the slider…
Maybe asking too much 😉
all the best.
Hi, Great suggestion! I will look into implementing shortcode support soon 😀
BTW, do you use duvdojo@gmail.com email? I think it was your plugin that sent me an email with subject line: ‘Subject: I want to get notified via email’ …
basically saying I’m on a mystery list I never joined…
and made me concerned my site was hacked and or vulnerable to spammers from a form or whatever…
in spite of a lot of security measures I use…
After much searching and time waste I then found a new tab in settings > tooltips where I saw subscription enabled.
Was unclear from email who what where this was from, so I suggest you make it clear to users and first ask them or at least tell them where they can change the subscription setting.
Shortcode support added for tooltip content 🙂
