Support » Fixing WordPress » Suggestion for a Plugin to a User Submitted Directory of Articles/Links/Books

  • I am supporting the Information Overload Research Group to update their old/outdated website, to a more modern theme.
I am looking for a plugin that I can use for this site for users to submit links to articles, websites, and books that would be stored in a categorized “resource list”. Think of it as a user submitted library of research articles that would be managed and maintained on our site. We want users to be able to submit links to articles with their comments that we could post in a “directory” that would be categorized and managed, but primarily user submitted. I have been looking at WP Job Manager and some other sourts of job manager and real estate listing plugins, but they don’t look easily customized. Any suggestions for a good plugin that will do something like this that we can customize for our site?

You could do this with a form plugin to collect the data, the use that plug or custom code to present it. It can all be accomplished with the Pro version of Formidable.
