Support » Plugin: Order Hours Scheduler for WooCommerce » Suggestion: Closed every other week

My store is currently closed every other Monday.
The only functionity for such event is to pick and choose the dates to be closed.

Wonder if there is an easier way to make something like that happen.

Also, as I have been picking the dates, I notice the dates are picked not specific to year. Ie dates picked for 2019 will reappear on 2020. Which I think is good for specific date of holidays every year ie. Christmas. But not good for Family Day ie. Third Monday of the February. Thus the dates will be different every year.

Thank you for sharing your store schedule and use case with us.

At this time, we don’t have any functionality planned to support an alternating weekly schedule, especially as this could add a lot of complexity to the store schedule logic.

Our best recommendation would be to continue using the holiday functionality and select every other Monday as a closed holiday. You could setup the schedule several months in advance or the entire year.

On the support question about picking dates for the holiday calendar. We have a solution in testing to support the year as well. This will solve the problem and start adding the /2020 to the selected dates and future dates /2021. In addition, we are expanding the field input display to better show the selected dates listed and allow it to be expanded.

Both these improvements to the holiday calendar functionality will be available in our next release. We are hoping to have it live soon, we’ve just encountered a few issues we are working to fix before pushing the new update.

A quick update, we’ve added more functionality to the holiday selector. Now you can assign the year on the date. Plus, the field box has been expanded to allow you to quickly see more upcoming holidays scheduled. Please update to the latest version, 3.0.1 to get the new functionality on the holiday selector.
