I have a suggestion: allow multiple categories or FAQ ids in the shortcode. This would prevent the duplication of the “<- Faqs” and “FAQ last updated” information.

For example, [qa cat=cat1,cat2] [qa id=id1,id2,id3]

I have changed the FAQ last updated code and will be adding an option to remove the FAQ link soon. Adding multiple cats to one code is a bit more than I have had the time for. Sorry.
