    Hi

I’m currently using an alternative Analytics plugin which tracks Woocommerce conversions and enhanced tracking straight into Analytics.

I’m trialing your plugin to pass WooCommerce data to Tag Manager in order to implement tracking for solutions other than Google Analytics.

However, both yours and the other plugin set a _ga_tracked meta value after outputting the tracking code. This means that only one of the solutions ends up tracking as which plugin fires second reads _ga_tracked as already being set.

Understandably if you had both plugins active and tracking to Google Analytics, you would not want to duplicate tracking so that this makes sense.

However in my scenario where someone wants to use both plugins, would you consider making the _ga_tracked meta key filterable so that I can change it to avoid the plugin conflict?

    Kind regards

    Ben

    Hi Ben,

This is easy to achieve: there is a plugin option in GTM4WP under Integrations->WooCommerce where you can set a checkbox so that this plugin will not track orders as being tracked by GA/GTM

With that, this plugin will not check the _ga_tracked flag and also it will not create it once the transaction data was outputted

Ah, can’t believe I missed that option!!!

    Thanks
