• It would be great if you add a dyslexia font to the options.

    BTW: I really love this plugin. Great work!!

  • I agree. A dyslexia font button would be nice. Since they do not have one, I somewhat created my own. You can download it here: https://www.derekswebsitesandmore.com/Scripts/accessibility-toolbox.js
    Note: you will need to link to it in your webpage’s head section.

    Here is a better version. Please use this one below because the one above was edited by me to work specifically on my website, which does not have videos or audio files.
    Here is the zip file for you to download: https://www.derekswebsitesandmore.com/accessibility-toolbox-files-for-websites.zip
    You will need to include a script tag in your HTML to link to the javascript file and only that file, not the cursor folder. The cursor folder is already linked in the javascript file.

    In my installation, I replaced the “readable font” (Verdana) with the OpenDyslexic font, which I downloaded and rehosted on my site. I added this to the additional CSS:

    @font-face{
    	font-family: "opendyslexic";
    	src: url("https://my-site.com/some/path/OpenDyslexic-Regular.otf");
    	font-style: normal;
    	font-weight: normal;
    }
    @font-face{
    	font-family: "opendyslexic";
    	src: url("https://my-site.com/some/path/OpenDyslexic-Italic.otf");
    	font-style: italic;
    	font-weight: normal;
    }
    @font-face{
    	font-family: "opendyslexic";
    	src: url("https://my-site.com/some/path/OpenDyslexic-Bold.otf");
    	font-weight: bold;
    	font-style: normal;
    }
    @font-face{
    	font-family: "opendyslexic";
    	src: url("https://my-site.com/some/path/OpenDyslexic-BoldItalic.otf");
    	font-weight: bold;
    	font-style: italic;
    }

    body.pojo-a11y-readable-font,
    body.pojo-a11y-readable-font *:not(i):not(span) {
    font-family: "opendyslexic" !important;
    }

    Hope this helps!
