 * does any one know of any suggest a topic plugins as ive just started a paranormal
   website and would be nice if people could suggst a topic to do with the paranormal
   thanks

 * This plugin looks like it was meant for suggesting features but might work for
   what you are looking to do: [Feature Suggest](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feature-suggest/screenshots/).
 * You could also create a customized page with a form so that your users could 
   suggest topics via that form.

 * That’s built in. Go into the user profile and you can set your nicename.

 * Hi gavgav,
 * Regardless of the user type, you can edit their user profile (under users in 
   the dashboard) to whatever you want their nickname to be. Then change the “Display
   name publicly as” setting to be the nickname.

 * A user can edit their OWN profile, an ADMIN can edit anyones.
